Created to honour the legacy of the original while taking the fragrance in a new direction, Oud & Roses Auric brings together rose, spice, leather, incense and oud in a rich Extrait de Parfum designed to unfold gradually on the skin.
For fans of Ahmed Al Maghribi — and particularly those who have followed Oud & Roses over the years — this is one of the most significant fragrance launches from the house in 2026.
TEN YEARS AFTER OUD & ROSES, A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS
The original Oud & Roses by Ahmed Al Maghribi became one of the fragrances that helped define the house.
Its distinctive combination of floral rose and deep oud introduced countless fragrance lovers to Ahmed Al Maghribi’s style of modern Arabian perfumery.
Now, a decade later, the story continues with Oud & Roses Auric.
Rather than simply recreating the original formula, Auric takes the idea of Oud & Roses and moves it forward.
Ahmed Al Maghribi describes the fragrance as:

Auric is inspired by the vision of Mr. Kafeel Ahmed, founder of Ahmed Al Maghribi Perfumes, and has been created as both a tribute to the journey of Oud & Roses and a new expression of the house’s fragrance identity.
WHAT DOES OUD & ROSES AURIC SMELL LIKE?
Oud & Roses Auric is a complex composition designed to change noticeably as it develops.
It begins bright and spicy, moves into a sophisticated floral heart and eventually settles into a warm, deep base of oud, incense, vanilla, patchouli and musk.
TOP NOTES
Orange, Cardamom, Pepper, Saffron & Leather
The fragrance opens with bright orange before cardamom, pepper and saffron introduce warmth and spice.
Leather adds a deeper and more sophisticated dimension, immediately distinguishing Auric from a conventional rose-and-oud fragrance.
HEART NOTES
Rose Oil, Immortelle Absolute from the Balkans, Heliotrope, Orris & Ahmed Al Maghribi Rose Accord
The heart is where the connection to the Oud & Roses story becomes particularly apparent.
Rose is joined by Immortelle Absolute from the Balkans, heliotrope and orris, creating a floral profile with warmth and a soft powdery character.
Running through the composition is the distinctive Ahmed Al Maghribi Rose Accord, providing a link between the heritage of Oud & Roses and this new creation.
BASE NOTES
Vanilla, Patchouli, Musk, Ahmed Al Maghribi Incense & Oud Accord
As Auric dries down, the fragrance becomes deeper and warmer.
Vanilla brings smooth sweetness, while patchouli and musk add body. Ahmed Al Maghribi’s incense and Oud Accord then provide the rich, woody and smoky character at the foundation of the fragrance.
The result is a scent that moves from bright spice and leather into rose before finally settling into warm oud, incense and vanilla.
40% PARFUM CONCENTRATION
One of the standout specifications of Oud & Roses Auric is its concentration.
Presented in a 60ml bottle, Auric has been created at a 40% parfum concentration, placing it firmly within the highly concentrated fragrance category.
According to Ahmed Al Maghribi, its stated performance is approximately 10–12 hours on skin and more than 14 hours on fabric, although longevity will naturally vary depending on application, skin, climate and other factors.
But Auric’s concentration isn’t intended simply to make the perfume stronger.
It allows the different stages of the fragrance — citrus, spices, leather, rose, florals, vanilla, incense and oud — to reveal themselves progressively rather than appearing all at once.
